About Aorii

Gokigenyo~ Aorii desu yooooo~!

I’m the manager and writer for the Major Arcana. I blog because taking the time to analyze usually helps me enjoy a series better. Thus, most posts I make will be impressions/recommendations, reviews, and editorials. At the same time, I’m a casual blogger, so there will be plenty of shenanigans and rants mixed in here and there.

My goal is to support and promote any series isn’t well-known enough. I particularly love gamer parodies and all types of drama, be it romance, family, social, historical, political, or military.

This blog has nothing to do with fortunate telling, although I do find Tarot cards useful for other categorization purposes…

I’m a very goal-oriented person who tries to get the most out of every moment, be it popping another item off my stack-of-todos or refining my personal abilities. As a result I tend to be too serious and analytical, working on that… also working on being honest with myself. I have a lazy bug and limited digilience just like most people, which keeps me from becoming anything remotely like a workaholic. My thought processing speed tends to be somewhat slow, mostly cause the thought-thread goes through far more analysis than normal before it hits ‘decision/recognition’, but it does annoyingly delay response times. My greatest foe is myself, as I’m an insatiable self-critic, although I wouldn’t trade my life for anyone else’s due to my sense of personal identity; I’d happily change a few traits though.

Why Major Arcana?
Citrus came up with it when we were brainstorming a group name for our OELVN project, so Sajuuk took the hostname. We just used it out of convenience when blogging started…

Who is Your Avatar?
Rita Mordio from Tales of Vesperia, because I’ve never seen an anime/game character who reflects my own personality and thought-process so well. Henceforth she’s my online persona.

What does Aorii mean?
It doesn’t mean anything. It’s created from the names of two characters from my light novel fiction project. So is Zanaikin for that matter.
